Mixed fortunes for JM Honda Racing in Grand Prix of Turkiye
JM Honda Racing has had mixed fortunes at round seventeen of the world championship MX2 in Afyonkarahisar in Turkiye. Camden McLellan scored ten world championship points while Delvintor Alfarizi crashed and has a fracture in his hand.
The weekend started with a set back for Alfarizi on Saturday. Due to a crash he injured his hand and has a fracture in it. Due to this he was forced to sit out the rest of the weekend.
In the opening moto on Sunday, McLellan was fighting for ninth position till he got a small mechanical problem, which forced him to retire from the race. Camden was motivated to do well in the second moto but this time he became dizzy because of the heat during the race and had to lower the pace. He finally finished the race in twelfth position.
Due to his 0 score in the first moto he finished in thirteenth position overall. After the race in Turkiye he sits in sixteenth position in the championship standings. In two weeks the series continues on the legendary track of Maggiora in Italy.
