Strong eighth place for Brent van Doninck in Lommel

Brent van Doninck of JM Racing Honda has achieved a strong eighth place in his home Grand Prix in Lommel. Van Doninck managed to cross the finish line in this position in the second moto. In the first moto he came back to seventeenth place after a crash at the start.

On Saturday, things didn’t go perfectly for van Doninck in the beginning. He had some difficulties with the track but this got better and better during the day. However, he suffered a setback at the start of the qualifying heat as he crashed and had to get back to the front from last place. Van Doninck managed to get an eighteenth place out of it. He was pleased with his speed and was looking forward to the race on Sunday.

He started in the first moto motivated but unfortunately he collided with another rider at the start, which resulted in a crash. Van Doninck hit his head and came back in the race with a big deficit. He didn’t give up and came back to fourteenth place during the race.

In the second moto he didn’t had any problems at the start. However, he had to do a lot of work because he had to work his way up from fifteenth place. He was able to keep going until the closing stages and managed to get an eighth place out of it.

With these results, van Doninck finished in twelfth place in the general classification.

Maximilian Werner managed to finish eleventh in the EMX250 class. In the first moto it went well in the first fifteen minutes but then he changed lines and lost several places. Exhausted, he crossed the finish line in ninth place. He added a twelfth place in the second moto, which gave him an eleventh place in the day’s classification.

There was a setback for Delvintor Alfarizi as he had to deal with a mechanical problem during the first moto of the MX2 class which forced him to retire from the race.

In the second moto he couldn’t get into his rhythm and struggled with pumped up arms. Because this got more worse as the race went on he wasn’t able to ride normally. Due to this he decided to retire from the race.

Not counting Argentina, it had been a year since van Doninck had ridden a full Grand Prix. Of course he still lacks rhythm but the feeling on the bike was good. On Saturday, Van Doninck suffered a setback in the qualifying heat as he crashed during the first lap. Because the riders kept coming, it took a long time before van Doninck could walk back to his bike. Afterwards he picked himself up and rode well until the finish.

In the motos on Sunday, van Doninck got a very good start and rode well in the top ten for a long time in the first moto. He eventually finished eleventh and returned to the paddock satisfied. In the second moto he had a very good rhythm and was able to maintain the high pace. This earned him a strong eighth place.

With an 11-8 in the motos, Brent finished in eighth place in the day’s classification.

Delvintor Alfarizi was feeling himself well in Loket. In the qualifying heat, he got a good start and was riding well for a long time. Towards the end, he got a bit tired in the heat and finished twenty-fifth. In the first moto he again got a very good start and was well inside of the points when he collided with another rider in the early stages and crashed. Alfarizi dropped back to outside the top thirty but recovered well. He managed to make up several places but suffered a setback due to a mechanical problem and was forced to retire from the race.

For the second moto, he was riding with the spare bike and Alfarizi started the preparation with confidence. He got another good start but from the beginning he noticed that something was wrong with the bike. He did what he could but didn’t make it to the finish line in the end.

JM Racing Honda’s Delvintor Alfarizi has managed to achieve a top fifteen finish in his home Grand Prix in Lombok. Alfarizi managed to achieve this position in the second moto when he finished fifteenth. In the first moto he crossed the finish line in nineteenth place with a problem with his rear brake.

Alfarizi started positively but after 12 minutes he had a problem with his rear brake and could do no more than drop the pace. Alfarizi finished the race in eighteenth place and was looking forward to Sunday with confidence.

Also in the first moto on Sunday, Alfarizi had to deal with the same problem with his rear brake. Again he tried to keep the pace as high as possible and finish the race. This eventually earned him a nineteenth place, which was good for two points.

In the second moto he didn’t had problems with his rear brake. Alfarizi got a pretty good start and managed to gain a few places during the first lap. He then worked through a consistent race and managed to cross the finish line in fifteenth place.

In the day’s classification, Alfarizi finished in seventeenth place and is now in thirty-fifth place in the standings. This weekend there will be another race at this location and the track will be ridden in the opposite direction.
